How to Remove a Hub Motor Wheel | Flat Tire Fix In this video, we’ll show you how to remove and reinstall the rear wheel on a Bakcou Flatlander (or any hub motor e-bike) when dealing with a flat tire. Hub motors can be a little tricky, but we’ve got you covered — whether you’re in the field or fixing it at home.
 Tools Needed:
 • 18mm wrench
 • Tire spoons (for tube removal)
 • Snips (to cut zip tie)
 • New tube or patch kit
 • Optional: extra zip tie
 Important Tips:
 • Always power off your e-bike before working on it
 • Unplug the motor cable carefully — match arrow to arrow
 • Watch your brake rotor during reinstallation — don’t bend it!
 • Re-tighten axle nuts and check chain alignment
